Once you have decided that you want to live and work permanently in Nova Scotia, you are advised to review the different NSNP streams to determine your eligibility.   3. The candidate must have received a part-time or a full-time job opportunity from a Nova Scotia-based company.
  4. He/she must have completed 10+2 and must have the relevant education and training required to work in Canada.
  5. He/she must have at least 12 months of work experience.
  6. Should have excellent fluency in writing and speaking English and French.
  7. Must exhibit the real purpose of settling in the Province of Nova Scotia.

Organizations supporting applicants through this program must meet the following requirements:
  1. Should have permanent establishment in Nova Scotia.
  2. Should be functional in Nova Scotia, under the current governance, for at least two years.
  3. Should offer full time, permanent job offers to the individual applicant.
  4. The line of work should be in Nova Scotia.
  5. The remuneration and payments in the job should meet Provincial employment standards.
  6. The job must be offered when there is a dearth of qualified Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
  7. Job offers made to NOC level C or D line of work will be well thought out based on local labor market demands and stipulations.
  8. Must display recruitment efforts to fill the position with a well-qualified Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
